(Israel’s Story -- Part One)

Morning Class: Tuesdays, May 4 – June 15, 2010 (9:00 – 10:45 am at the PLC)

Evening Class: Wednesdays, May 5 – June 16, 2010 (7:00 – 8:45 pm at the PLC)

Some of the topics to be discussed are:

Where did the creation and flood stories come from?

Names Israel uses to identify its God.

God’s plan for the human race thru Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their next generations.

Israel in Egypt, exodus from Egypt, wanderings in the wilderness, and entrance to the promised land.

Laws of Israel, covenants with God, time of Israel’s judges, prophets and kings, and why Israel split into two kingdoms.

Note: A donation of $10 is requested to partially cover the cost of the books and video.
