Faith Sharing Groups

 

 

Registration Information for the 2012 Groups!

 

Are you looking for more than weekly mass?  Do you want to ignite your faith?  Why not explore your Catholic faith by attending a Faith Sharing Group once a week during Lent.

 

Faith Sharing Groups are not your parents’ Bible Study Group.  They are small groups of adults - just like you - who come together in members’ homes or the Parish Life Center, to explore and share their faith in a friendly environment.  Members help each other make connections between everyday life, faith stories, and scripture.  Faith Sharing Groups build up the parish community and strengthen the mission of our church by bringing us closer to each other and our Lord.   So why not come and join a Faith Sharing Group and enhance your Lenten Journey.   Sign up forms are in the church bulletin and on the OLM website.

Information for this year’s Groups…

 

Faith Sharing Groups meet 6 weeks during the Lenten season to discuss relevant Gospels.  This is a great way grow closer to God while building personal relationships with others, during the holiest season of the liturgical year.

           

We’re having our first Faith Sharing Spanish Speaking Group this year.  We invite you to participate in this new experience at our parish.  Reflection and the Gospel will be in this language.  Facilitators and participants will have discussions in Spanish, the mother language, which should enable participants to grow their faith in a more effective way.

 

Catch-22, designed for young professionals and college students 18-30, will focus on the gospel of Matthew over Lent.  If you are in that age group, join them once weekly to read portions of Matthew, and to share your faith experiences as a young adult.

 

If you’ve been away from Small Faith Groups, we invite you to take another look.  Come back…join Faith Sharing Groups. Take this opportunity to get to know others and to deepen your faith.
