Blessed Sacrament Adorers

Adorers spend 30 - 60 minutes each Monday in the chapel during adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration begins after 8:00 a.m. Mass on Monday and continues until benediction at 6:00 p.m.

 

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

Assist in distributing communion at weekend Masses and special liturgies. Training is provided. Must be 16 years of age, confirmed and a practicing Catholic.

Welcome parishioners and guests at weekend and seasonal liturgies. Ideal ministry for families.

 

Lectors

Proclaim the Word at weekend and special liturgies. Training is provided. Lectors prepare by meditating on the readings the week prior to their assignment. Volunteers must have good public reading skills.

 

Ushers

Help seating worshippers, receiving offerings, distributing bulletins, and assisting the handicapped. This ministry is perfect for those who like to help things run smoothly.

Music Ministry

Adult Choir

Sing at 9:00 a.m. Mass and special Masses; rehearsals Wednesday 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. in the church; open to all parishioners high school age & up; no audition required.

 

Cantor Ministry

Song leaders; usually one person with accompanist; 1 to 2 liturgies per month; annual auditions; training through the Music Director.

 

10:30 a.m. Mass Group

We are looking to start a new music group to help provide music for the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Singers and instrumentalists are welcome.

 

Festival Choir

Ideal for those who want to participate in the choir but are not able to make a weekly time commitment; attend five or six rehearsals and sing at Christmas or Easter Masses.

 

OLM Orchestra

The orchestra forms twice a year to play for the Christmas Midnight Mass and Pentecost. All instrumentalists 8th grade and older are welcome.

 

Hand-bell Choir

We need 8 ringers for each choir. No experience is required!

 

Jr. Choir

For singers grades 3-5, this group will practice Wednesdays from 5:45 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and sings at Mass about once a month, including one of the Christmas Eve Masses.

 

Middle School Choir

For singers grades 6-8, this group will practice Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m.-5:45 p.m. and sings at Mass about once a month, including one of the Christmas Eve Masses.
